Selalunya kalo kita ke tempat baru..kenela pandai2 bawa diri kan..mmg x ley nak lari dari 1st impression mata2 yg memandang atau kita sendiri yg bg impression dekat org..masih aku igt hari pertama jejakkan kaki di Shell..HR di sini ada 3 bahagian ( system, local & expat )..aku diperkenalkan pada setiap team..& bila aku diperkenalkan dengan seorang staff ni..dia duduk santai.. staff yg mengiringi aku memulakan bicara,

"Hey xxxx, this is our new staff..Sal"

"Sal..this is xxxx"

Biasa kalo mcm ni mestila kita pandang org tu & at least senyum kan..tp dia, muka aku langsung x dipandang,sebaliknya dipandangnya pula org yg memperkenalkan aku itu..(--") aku senyum tawar~ terdetik dlm hati.."mak aih, kereknyehai mamat neh"..selepas berlalu pergi aku pandang sekilas & bertekad dlm hati,"hmm,aku nak cuba kenal mamat neh..apa yg buatkan dia jd mcm tu sekali"

Dengar cerita dia mmg kurang bergaul dengan org..agak sarcastic & tempat duduknya di penjuru dunia..& selalunya bila kerja, dia akan duduk amat rendah hingga x nampak kepala dlm die punya cubicle~

Peluang tiba bila rupanya dia salah seorang SME (subject matter expert specialized utk Pay & Time)..dekat HR ada 4 org SME yg mmg aku tabik spring sumenye.. 1)Pay & time 2) Authorization 3)Organization management 4)HR Online. Apa2 kes yg xde penyelesaian perlu di-escalate pada mereka utk further checking.tp x bley nak suke suki je tanya, kalo rasa nak kene tengking boleyla cuba..mmg cuak kalo nak bertanya pada mereka sbb perlu follow format disertakan dengan analisis kes betul2 punya~

Aku sebutkan peluang tiba sbb rupanya dia merupakan trainer yg akan train new staff utk 'pay & time'..& memandangkan masa tu cuma ada 2 org new staff, aku n lagi sorang budak pompuan..maka sessi training lebih fokus..tp siyes dia mmg scary..sgt serius & suka mengajukan soalan complicated, & xkan berganjak ke topik seterusnya kalo kami x memberi sebarang jpwn..mmg kecut perut dibuatnya~

Tapi suatu hari, ada peristiwa yang menyebabkan jurang itu tidak lagi jauh ketara..& start drpd hari tu aku mula rapat & berpeluang mengenali sebahagian lagi diri dia yg agak caring, concern & kelaka..Segan bila dia ajak lunch sesama sbb selalunya dia yg akan belanja..tp aku sgt respect sbb dia sgt profesional..byk bg aku advice & support sepanjang aku nak stabilkan diri di sana~kalaula dia blom kawen harus aku terjatuh suka..haha~

Oh, lupa..aku ada tanyakan dia..kenapa hari mula2 aku jejakkan kaki di shell, dia berlagak sedemikian rupa..jwpn dia; "haa..psychology tu..lagipun sy mmg suka org pikir pelik pasal sy"..& mengapa dia lebih suka memencilkan diri..itu lebih kepada kesan politik kerja..

~hmm, mcm2 kan..tp itu yg mewarnakan hidup kita~

Byk yg aku kagumkan dengan mereka..dengan budaya kerja di sana (tolak part isu dalaman pastinya)..apa yg pasti semangat kwn support kwn kat sana sgt luar biasa..x kisah la ko melayu, cina, india, arab, thai..deorang akan support ko kow2 punya..yg nak jatuhkan ko pun ada..tp tu cuma sekerat dua..anggap deorang mcm tempias je..janji kita buat keje kita..~

At times I do wish I had the chance to go back to school and layan some studies. But I may be a little too old for that...

Its hectic back in the office with alot of new things to learn and the challenges are pilling up.

You would have been amazing in our team, but I think that teaching is your thing.... You have such a great persona and i know that the students in our country would definitely benefit from your caring nature. Good luck with the new role ok! and make sure you stay in touch!!!!

Disebabkan aku ni terlalu sentimental value punye orang..aku nak abadikan kenangan sepanjang setengah tahun kat Shell..cukup singkat tp aku sgt bersyukur diberi peluang utk jadi sebahagian dr deorang...peluang utk deal ngn pihak atasan dr luar negara ( Asia Pac, middle east etc ) bergelut ngn fast pace job nature, workload, colleagues yg sgt supportive, understanding & damn superb.
